Position Summary:

The Activities Aide assists in planning, organizing, and implementing engaging programs and activities that enhance the physical, emotional, and social well-being of our residents.
Responsibilities:


* Assist with daily recreational activities and group programs


* Encourage resident participation and engagement


* Provide one-on-one visits with residents as needed


* Help decorate and prepare materials for events and holidays


* Support transportation of residents to and from activities


* Document participation per facility guidelines

Qualifications:


* High school diploma or equivalent preferred


* Experience in long-term care or activities preferred but not required


* Positive attitude and strong communication skills


* Ability to be creative, patient, and compassionate


* Must enjoy working with the elderly population
