Sr Accounting Specialist

AHF Products has a great career opportunity for a Sr Accounting Specialist to be located at our headquarters in Mountville, PA.

As a Sr Accounting Specialist, you will be responsible for general accounting, standard reporting, budgeting & forecasting, compliance & internal control as well as liaising with functional departments, internal and external auditors.

JOB DUTIES:  

Qualified individuals must have the ability (with or without reasonable accommodation) to perform the following duties:


* Monthly journal entries, account reconciliations and balance sheet reconciliations


* Prepare and track various accruals


* Submission of financial data to internal and external departments


* Accounting for Business Unit departments


* Intercompany reconciliations


* Assist with ERP testing for changes related to new business or new functionality


* Gross to Net Accounting


* Update FX Rates


* Sales incentive/Commissions accrual accounting


* Support process improvement initiatives


* Document policies, procedures, workflow, and checklists for assigned responsibilities


* Complete Closing Tasks accurately and timely


* Crosstrain and provide support in other areas as needed


* Confirm and abide by all regulatory guidance and internal policies and procedures


* Other duties as assigned

JOB QUALIFICATIONS: 


* Bachelor’s degree in Accounting in Accounting or related field


* 5+ years of relevant Accounting experience 


* Strong analytical and organizational skills


* Strong written and oral communication skills


* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, professional environment              


* Strong Microsoft Excel Skills and experience with Microsoft Office


* Must be able to successfully complete and pass a background check, employment verification and drug screening


* Positive and Verifiable Work History
