Global Data Product Owner, Gen BI
JOB DESCRIPTION
The Product Owner (PO) will serve as the strategic link between business stakeholders and technical teams, driving delivery of high-value analytics and AI-powered solutions.
This role focuses on advancing enterprise BI capabilities, including self-service analytics, AI-driven insights, and generative BI tools, while ensuring governance, scalability, and measurable business impact.
Additionally, the PO will leverage expertise in underwriting workflows and AI technologies to design solutions that transform decision-making processes.
Key Responsibilities
* Define and maintain product vision and roadmap aligned with business strategy; prioritize features for maximum impact
* Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and act as the primary contact for BI and AI product decisions
* Manage and prioritize the product backlog ensuring clear acceptance criteria and ROI-driven delivery
* Oversee solution delivery ensuring compliance with governance standards and alignment with business needs
* Drive innovation through adoption of generative BI tools, AI analytics, and enablement programs for self-service BI
* Establish KPIs and continuously improve BI and AI solutions based on performance metrics and feedback
QUALIFICATIONS
* Bachelor's degree in Business, Data Analytics, Computer Science, or related field; MBA or equivalent preferred
* 5+ years in BI, Data Analytics, or Product Management roles
* Experience with BI tools (Power BI, Qlik) and familiarity with GenAI/GenBI platforms
* Understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, and cloud data platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP)
* Strong communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills

* BI Tools & Platforms: Expertise in tools like Power BO, Tableau, Qlik; ability to guide dashboard design and self-service analytics
* Generative BI & AI: Understanding of GenBI concepts, AI-driven insights, and integration with BI platforms
* Data Governance: Knowledge of data quality, security, compliance, and governance frameworks
* Data Modeling & ETL: Familiarity with data modeling principles and ETL processes for BI solutions
* Cloud Data Platforms: Awareness of Azure, AWS, or GCP data services and their role in BI ecosystems
* Agile Product Management: Ability to manage product backlod, write user stories, and prioritize features in Scrum/Kanban environments
* Stakeholder Management: Strong communication and negotiation skills to align business and technical teams
* Analytical Thinking: Ability to interpret business needs, define KPIs, and measure BI product success
* Innovation & Enablement: Drive adoption of new BI capabilities, including self-service and AI-driven analytics
* Technical Communication: Translate complex technical concepts into business-friendly language
The pay range for the role is $158,000 to $230,000.
