BAS Systems Specialist I UR

Schneider Electric has an opportunity for an experienced Building Automation Systems Specialist I in our Charlotte, NC location.

Primary responsibility is delivering Building Automation System projects.

This position is a field-based position where you may perform any number of roles.

The successful candidate will work closely with project managers to deliver any of the following project components: system design/review, software, installation, startup, commissioning, and owner training.

What will you do?


* Implement databases, controls, sequences, programs, and graphics for new construction and retrofit projects.


* Provides start-up and checkout documentation to the installation team for use in commissioning and validation


* Organize and demonstrate required BAS project sequences to meet commissioning agents' requirements.


* Commission controls installation and verifies that control sequences meet specifications.


* Provides sketches of field changes and discrepancies for engineering corrections and as-built drawings

What qualifications will make you successful for this role?


* Recently graduated from an HVAC program or with a two-year technical degree


* Two-year (2) degree in a related technical field required or related work experience


* The ability to obtain and maintain required government security clearances and/or badges as needed.

(This involves a background/character, criminal history, employment, and credit check.)


* Knowledge of HVAC systems and equipment.


* Electrical troubleshooting knowledge


* Must be highly organized and possess the ability to work in a high-paced environment, with the ability to prioritize tasks to meet the schedules given by the leadership


* Demonstrate the ability to operate independently and autonomously and take ownership of all tasks.

Excellent oral and written communication skills and team-oriented
