Risk Analytics/Modeling [Multiple Positions Available]
DESCRIPTION:
Duties: Develop creative solutions to challenges presented by fraud activity.
Drive innovation in fraud risk strategies through continuous improvement initiatives.
Work with large amounts of complex data to monitor and uncover behaviors and trends in fraudulent activity.
Develop new fraud fighting products such as Machine Learning Models by designing requirements and working with technical business partners to implement these products using agile design methodology.
Generate regular reports and dashboards to communicate fraud risk metrics and trends to stakeholders.
Maintain deliverables needed to implement strategies by working with stakeholders to design solutions, develop requirements, and test implementation.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum education and experience required: Master's degree in Data Science, Analytics, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field of study plus four (4) years of experience in the job offered or as Risk Analytics/Modeling Vice President, Senior Data Science Analyst, Business Analyst, Technical Advisor, or related occupation.
The employer will alternatively accept a Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Analytics, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field of study plus six (6) years of experience in the job offered or as Risk Analytics/Modeling Vice President, Senior Data Science Analyst, Business Analyst, Technical Advisor, or related occupation.
Skills Required: This position requires four (4) years of experience with the following: performing data driven strategy; performing data manipulation, data structuring, data design flow and query optimization using programming language including SAS, SQL and Python; using Microsoft Excel including pivot tables, vlookups, and linking data to files; developing analytical frameworks for data manipulation; leveraging data analytics to handle data sets with millions of transactions and arriving at solutions and meaningful insights; developing and driving strategic initiatives; independently identifying opportunities, backlog of work, and goals including managing and prioritizing book of work based on opportunity sizing; making high-impact decisions with long-term implications on the business; stakeholder management; communicating top-line messages to senior leaders containing the core essence of products by using storytelling and deck building; giving presentations to managers and partner teams; articulating product vision and strategy to senior leadership and external partners.
This position requires one (1) year of experience with the following: Managing multiple fraud related projects along with balancing on customer experience metrics; driving results across teams and partners by reducing fraud exposure across products while balancing customer experience; writing fraud-focused and answer first presentations in a narrative style; fraud framework and attack vectors and Risk policies for product data visualization.
