Manager- Project

Murray Logan Construction is looking for a Project Manager that can supervise construction projects from beginning to end, ensuring that projects are completed within time and budgetary constraints.

S/he will participate in the conceptual development of a project and oversee its organization, scheduling and implementation.

S/he will plan, direct, and coordinate and budget activities concerned with the construction and maintenance of structures, facilities and systems.Murray Logan Construction is looking for a Project Manager that can supervise construction projects from beginning to end, ensuring that projects are completed within time and budgetary constraints.

* 3-5 years of related experience; bachelor's degree preferred.


* Primavera or other scheduling software experience required.


* An understanding of the highway construction industry and the ability to work under deadlines in a fast-paced environment.


* Estimating and Buying experience.


* Excellent scheduling, problem resolution and communication skills.


* Demonstrated good judgment in recommendations and decisions in formulating and executing project strategy.


* Strong analytical skills, very detail oriented and organized.


* Good oral and written communication skills.


* Proficiency in Microsoft Office - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.

The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

Ability to travel by driving a vehicle or as a passenger on an airplane to various locations.

Physical dexterity may involve stretching, proper placement of legs, and use of arms and hands in repetitive motions.

The employee must be able to maintain constant alertness to the multiple concurrent activities occurring at the site, including the activities of other employees and contractors, the operation of stationary equipment and the movement of mobile equipment.
