Speech Therapist (SLP) - PRN

📍 Arbor Post Acute - 1200 Springfield Dr, Chico, CA 95928

Hourly Rate: $62-$72/hr DOE

Arbor Post Acute is seeking a compassionate and motivated Speech-Language Pathologist (PRN) to join our supportive and collaborative interdisciplinary team.

What You'll Do


* Evaluate and treat patients with speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders in accordance with physician orders


* Develop individualized treatment plans and adjust based on patient progress


* Collaborate closely with physicians, nursing staff, rehab team members, patients, and families


* Maintain timely, accurate clinical documentation in compliance with state and payer requirements


* Participate in care conferences, discharge planning, and interdisciplinary meetings as needed


* Provide education and training to staff, caregivers, and families to support continuity of care


* Supervise and mentor SLP Assistants, Clinical Fellows, or students when applicable

What We're Looking For


* Master's or Doctoral degree in Speech-Language Pathology


* Current California SLP license in good standing


* Strong communication, clinical, and documentation skills


* Ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams


* Experience in skilled nursing or post-acute care preferred


* Familiarity with EMR systems such as Casamba or PointClickCare a plus
