Job Description:

Key Responsibilities


* Entry level colleague who participates in training, learning about Greif systems, and assisting to set up, monitor and troubleshoot blow molding, injection molding, or extrusion molding machinery.


* Assists in the setup of machinery for different production runs, following established procedures to ensure smooth transitions.

Communicates machinery issues to maintenance.


* Assists in the operation of plastic molding, extrusion, and other plastic processing equipment.


* Learns and helps monitor the production process, ensuring that machines are running efficiently and producing high-quality products.


* Performs routine maintenance duties on cleaning and basic adjustments to machinery.


* Troubleshoots minor machine issues under the supervision of senior technicians.


* Documents production data, maintenance activities, and quality data observed during the production.


* Performs basic quality control checks, ensuring products meet required specifications and industry standards.


* Participates in quality assurance activities such as inspection and testing of products.


* Works closely with senior technicians, operators, and supervisors to ensure daily production operation.


* Follows standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety guidelines while performing tasks.


* Prepares raw materials and additives for use in production.


* Loads materials into machinery and ensure proper feeding during production runs.


* Performs other duties as assigned.

Education & Experience


* Typically possesses a High School diploma (or equivalent) and 0-2 years of experience.

Knowledge & Skills


* Basic understanding of plastic manufacturing processes.


* Ability to follow instructions and standard operating procedures.


* Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality assurance.


* Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn machinery operations.


* Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
