Reward Manager

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

1.

Acting as a subject matter expert on reward trends, best practice, and legislative compliance in relation to pay and non-financial benefits.

2.

Assisting reward senior management in the delivery of BAU calendar events, such as, but not limited to, Annual Salary Review and bonus and incentive plan processes, pay gap reporting and flexible benefits management.

3.

Owning the maintenance of the internal Job Catalogue and associated pay ranges.

4.

Carrying out job evaluation, role benchmarking and completion of market pay surveys.

5.

Carrying out pay analysis and modelling and preparation of reports highlighting insights.

6.

Ensuring reward policies remain up-to-date and are both internally and externally compliant.

7.

Providing coaching and guidance to the wider people team, central functions and managers on reward matters.

Qualifications & Experience

Essential

• Significant experience in a reward role, ideally within a complex organisation

• Strong technical knowledge of pay and job evaluation plus flexible benefits platform and associated benefits such as, but not limited to, PMI, Dental Ins, Income Protection, Holiday Trading and pensions

• Experience of supporting annual pay and bonus review cycles

• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail with the ability to interpret and present data clearly

• Up-to-date knowledge of UK reward-related legislation and best practice

• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills

• Proficient in MS software, particularly Excel

Desirable

• Experience with Mercer or Hay job evaluation methodology and Workday
