Senior Manager- Strategic Finance- Capital Management
Assist the director of Capital Management in leading team that supports the company's capital investment program, including overall financial analysis and facilitation of senior leadership decision making.
Responsibilities include oversight of capital administration and approvals, capital forecasting, internal stakeholder liaison support, financial analysis and reanalysis efforts.

- Bachelor's Degree related field
- 2+ years of managing, coaching, and developing direct reports
- 5+ years of relevant business experience including ROI and IRR financial analysis experience as well as oversight related to capital planning and forecasting processes
- Excellent accuracy, attention to detail, and ability to organize and prioritize tasks/projects with on-time results
- Knowledge of Excel, Word, Quick Sales, Business Objects, and Essbase
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret business journals, technical and government documents
- Ability to lead and motivate direct reports and individuals from other functional backgrounds
- Excellent oral and written communication including effective written reports and presenting of information
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
Desired
- Other Bachelor's Degree in accounting, economics, finance, mathematics, statistics or real estate
- Master's Degree business administration or CPA
- Any retail experience and/or experience in leading annual capital plan process >$1B
- 2+ years of managing direct reports with experience coaching and developing financial talent
- 5+ years of prior accounting/finance/statistics experience
- Knowledge of internal Kroger systems such as Oracle and Coupa- Lead execution of annual capital planning and quarterly forecasting processes, including reporting to internal stakeholders and senior leadership
- Lead execution of all Storing and Non-Storing capital investment reviews including project analysis, Capital Committee approval, reporting, and financial-acumen training
- Oversee preparation, updates, and distribution of Storing budgets and other financial valuation models providing insights and sensitivities around key risks and valuation drivers for senior leadership decision making
- Coordinate capital investment reanalysis including results reporting for accountability and predictive analysis
- Oversee Oracle workflow enterprise-wide administration assisting teams on project set up and approval requirements
- Assist the director of Capital Management in the monitoring of the Capital Appropriations Policy that provides the overall capital investment review and approval governance
