JOB SUMMARY

The Director I, Manufacturing Operations is responsible for oversight of site production activities including resource analysis, client interaction, professional development of the production team, and serving as a point of escalation for any production issues.

 The Director is expected to partner closely with the production planner, Training Manager, Validation, Quality and Maintenance to ensure on-time deliverables are met while adhering to the highest quality standards.  Resilience and the ability to provide positive motivation, encourage teamwork, and commitment to client satisfaction are all critical attributes.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


* Ensure, in collaboration with all Site Leaders, that production is in line with client expectations, quality standards, and compliance


* Evaluate effectiveness of Production training programs; provide strategic direction where needed


* Evaluate and provide input regarding Adare’s direct labor retention strategy


* Development, analysis, and utilization of established performance data programs to achieve departmental goals.  Including future needs and capabilities. 


* Partner with Talent Acquisition to implement effective hiring strategies


* Ensure adequate management of maintenance of buildings and production equipment, identifies cost reduction or improvement opportunities on the overall effectiveness of operations and the level of compliance.


* Support operational excellence initiatives and special projects in technological transfers or upgrades.


* Participate in strategic or high-impact decisions related to building and infrastructure engineering and maintenance, equipment acquisition, as well as related service contract negotiations.
