What’s the job? 

Supervise the Restaurant & Bar Outlets (Ottie’s, Dive Bar, Pow Wow & In Room Dining) operations of the hotel to ensure the achievement of established food and beverage quality and guest service quality standards and departmental revenue and profit goals.   

Key Responsibilities


* Deliver exceptional food and beverage service in line with departmental standards, procedures, and SOPs.


* Lead day-to-day service operations, including daily briefings and meetings in the absence of the Restaurant & Bar Manager.


* Train, coach, and develop F&B team members to ensure strong product knowledge, service excellence, and compliance.


* Ensure the outlet is fully prepared for service, including staff presentation, cleanliness, equipment readiness, and ambience.


* Drive sales and guest engagement through effective up-selling, menu knowledge, and personalised service.


* Maintain high standards of guest care, responsibly managing alcohol service and resolving guest concerns promptly.


* Support operational efficiency through effective stock control, cellar operations, rostering support, and collaboration with management.

What we need from you


* Strong communication skills with the ability to interact professionally and positively with guests, colleagues, and external stakeholders, representing the Hotel, brand, and company to a high standard.


* Clear and effective written communication skills.


* Proficient in Microsoft Office and confident using workplace systems.


* Well-developed problem-solving, organisational, motivational, and training skills, with the ability to lead and support a team in a fast-paced environment.


* Diploma in Hospitality Management or an equivalent qualification (preferred).
