Shape Your World
At Alcoa, you will become an essential part of our purpose: to turn raw potential into real progress.
The way we see it, every Alcoan is a work-shaper, team-shaper, idea-shaper & world-shaper.
This is an opportunity for you to bring your wealth of experience to the team and help shape the future of sustainability with world-changing innovations and low carbon technologies.

About the Role
As a Mine Rehabilitation Advisor, you will be at the heart of Alcoa’s commitment to industry-leading environmental stewardship.

You will play a pivotal role in a sophisticated restoration program, applying scientific rigour and innovative practices to return the land to a self-sustaining ecosystem.
This isn't just about compliance; it’s about upholding a global standard for how industry and nature coexist.

You will:

* Conduct detailed field inspections and audits to verify that restoration work meets our exacting standards, driving a culture of continuous improvement.
* Provide technical insights that shape our rehabilitation guidelines and procedures, ensuring they remain at the cutting edge of environmental practice.
* Manage and analyse the data that proves our success, feeding critical information into GIS systems, KPI dashboards, and transparent reporting for both internal and external stakeholders.
* Act as a professional liaison with government bodies, including the Department of Biodiversity, Conservation and Attractions (DBCA) and Water Corporation, to demonstrate our progress and maintain our social license to operate.
