Job Responsibilities



* Patient Treatment: Treat patients according to the Occupational Therapist's directives and physician treatment plans.


* Documentation: Accurately record daily treatment notes and weekly progress notes per OT Board requirements.


* Communication: Maintain clear communication with supervisors and healthcare team members regarding patient progress and care plans.


* Training Support: Assist the nursing department by training Restorative Aides and instructing patient families or staff on maintenance programs and caregiver training.


* Discharge Planning: Participate in discharge planning as needed.


* Equipment Maintenance: Report any issues with department equipment to ensure proper functioning and hygiene in the treatment area.

Required License or Certification



* Valid Occupational Therapist Assistant License
