This role is perfect for someone who loves working closely with patients, families, and staff to promote independence and improve quality of life.

What You'll Do:


* Evaluate patients within 24 hours of referral and create effective, individualized treatment plans.


* Provide therapy based on physician-directed plans to support recovery and daily living skills.


* Supervise Occupational Therapy Assistants and train Restorative Aides.


* Collaborate with nurses, physicians, families, and other care team members on patient progress and discharge planning.


* Document evaluations, daily and weekly treatment notes, and progress reports per OT Board and payer requirements.


* Educate families and caregivers on maintenance programs for continued care after discharge.


* Recommend and assist with ordering adaptive equipment to support independence.


* Participate in care conferences, staff training, and in-service programs.


* Maintain equipment, ensure safety standards, and contribute to a positive, resident-focused environment.
