Position Summary

Key Responsibilities


* Prepare and cook meals according to planned menus and dietary guidelines.


* Ensure food is served at proper temperatures and presented attractively.


* Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen and food service areas.


* Collaborate with dietary staff and Registered Dietitians to accommodate special diets.


* Monitor inventory and assist with ordering supplies as needed.

Qualifications


* Previous experience in a healthcare or institutional kitchen preferred.


* Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.


* Ability to follow recipes and dietary instructions accurately.


* Strong teamwork and communication skills.


* ServSafe certification (or willingness to obtain).
