 Centra has an opportunity for an IT Systems Engineer at our Corporate Headquarters in Columbus, IN.

The IT Systems Engineer is responsible for Tier III + support for IT infrastructure issues that arise.

This position serves as the technical leader in the design, purchase, implementation, maintenance, and improvements of new and existing technologies.  This position monitors and supports all security related to the IT infrastructure while practicing the policy of least privileged with zero trust architecture.

* Administers the core banking infrastructure and collaborates with vendors for troubleshooting and guidance.


* Maintains Windows servers as well as implements, provides patching and updates.


* Manages and implements VMware environment and SAN Storage


* Manages Centra’s hosted email solution and phone and call center systems.


* Manages and administers backup software across the lines of business.


* Manages, implements, and configures network environment, database systems.


* Creates technical documentation for internal processes and systems.


* Monitors and implements network security products and vendors.


* Provides after hours and weekend support for critical infrastructure issues.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE - (EQUIVALENT COMBINATION OF EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE WILL BE CONSIDERED):


* Associate's Degree in Related Field


* Five years to eight years of similar or related experience, including preparatory experience.
