Mine Engineer

Our mine services group is seeking a full-time Mine Engineer for our Northwood, OH branch.

The primary responsibilities of the position consist of, but are not limited to:


* Perform quarry layouts with proposed equipment changes in Aggflow.


* Size proper replacement equipment to meet customer production requirements.


* Collaborate with others (managers, designers, field techs, customer, drafters, administration)


* Develop designs, including specification and calculations to document compliance with project and code requirements


* Assist in the preparation and approval of design documents and plant modifications, including working with engineers and designers in document development


* Provides technical expertise and guidance to develop, manage and implement plant layouts, equipment implementations, and resolve equipment and system problems.


* All other duties as assigned by a supervisor/manager

Qualifications


* B.S.

Mine Engineering Degree.


* Applicants must be capable of managing multiple projects at once with tight deadlines


* Should be comfortable visiting clients' facilities and performing physical work such as walking, stooping, kneeling and climbing stairs/ladders


* Proficient knowledge of how a stone quarry operates and the production equipment involved.
