We have an immediate opening for a Pump Technician Specialist in the South Carolina location.
The hourly pay range is from $23.00 - $27.00 (DOE)

About the position:
As the Pump Technician Specialist, you will be responsible for assembling a variety of routine pump assemblies and sub-assemblies.
You will also receive, store, and distribute materials, tools, equipment, and products within the warehouse.
Additional responsibilities include preparing and spraying surfaces with protective or decorative coatings such as paint, enamel, glaze, gel-coat, epoxy, or lacquer.
You will also build crates and shipping containers for finished products and ensure they are properly secured for transportation.
What You'll Do:
* Assemble and test pump units to specification; perform precision fitting and machining.
* Install mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic components; cut and fit pipe/tubing.
* Handle material movement, order picking/packing, loading/unloading, and inventory transactions.
* Prep and coat parts (paint/epoxy/etc.) and maintain coating equipment.
* Build and secure crates for finished products; prepare, inspect, and label shipments.
* Operate hand tools, power tools, forklifts, and lifting equipment.
* Follow all safety procedures and report hazards promptly.
Education and/or Experience:
* Mechanical aptitude and mechanical experience are required.
* High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
