Specifier Engineer

As a Specifier Engineer in the Design firm team, you'll be instrumental in delivering compelling value propositions to our esteemed clients.

Schneider Electric is leading the convergence of electrification, automation and digital intelligence on the market with a rising demand in data centers, hospitals, infrastructure which give us an opportunity to be customer's energy technology partner.

Your mission will be to elevate client knowledge, and champion the cause of energy efficiency and sustainability across diverse markets, using AI-powered, software-defined platforms.

Working within the vibrant business unit, you'll collaborate closely with sales specialists across the company, strategically prescribe and promote new offers, and create impactful solution proposals.

What will you do


* Take the lead in actively prescribing our cutting-edge solutions; be the go-to expert, showcasing the value propositions of our products and solutions to our valued customer base


* Apply knowledge of products/solutions/services to meet customer's needs


* Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, strategically maximizing our project success rate


* Support for managing sales tools and product configurations


* Support offer managers with product data and product launch localization/translations


* Conduct/coordinate product related trainings to Design firms


* Depending on your ambition and preferences the role can consist of market strategy and business development and execution as a good starting point for a future leader role

What will help you to succeed


* Great communication and interpersonal skills.


* Proactive and dynamic approach to account management


* Suitable educational background such as Degree in Electrical or Automation Engineering


* Previous experience working with design firms being an advantage.


* Experience in communication, metering and related software is beneficial.


* Good IT-skills: MS Office, Power BI, SAP and CRM systems


* Language skills: Norwegian and English on a proficient level
