Registered Nurse III-MC/CHC - Nurse Support Teams - Diabetes

The County of Riverside - Riverside University Health System-Medical Center (RUHS-MC) is currently recruiting for an experienced Registered Nurse III MC/CHC to join our Diabetes Team in Moreno Valley.

The incumbent will be responsible for:


* Respond to and manage diabetes consults in a timely and clinically appropiate manner.


* Provide comprehensive diabetes education to patients, families, and healthcare staff to promote effective self-management and informed care.


* Participate in community outreach events to support diabetes awareness, prevention, and education initiatives.


* Collaborate closely with endocrinologists and other interdisciplinary providers to ensure coordinated, high-quality diabetes care across the continuum.

The ideal candidates for this position will possess 3 years of registered nurse experience in an acute care hospital or community health agency setting and possess the CDCES certification.

Candidates' bilingual in English/Spanish and have experience in diabetes care are encouraged to apply.

Required License and Certifications:


* Current and valid license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of California.


* Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association.


* Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist (CDCES) certification is required to obtain within one (1) year of hire.

Work Schedule :
4/10's with rotating weekends
Hours: 8:00am - 6:30pm

Additional Differentials :
$2.50/hour Specialty Care Differential



*Specialty Care differentials will be applied following completion of required specialty training, attainment of all necessary certifications, and departmental determination that the employee is authorized to work independently.
