Trading Services Middle Office - Trading Services Associate I

As a Trading Services Associate within the Middle Office team, you will liaise with clients regarding all operational requirements and perform key control functions.

You'll partner with execution desks, clearing teams, and other internal support areas.

Primary responsibilities include relationship management, query management, and full adherence to regulatory commitments.

This is a dynamic and challenging environment focused on delivering excellent client service.

Job responsibilities:


* Serve as the single point of contact for client coverage, including priority clients.


* Set and maintain standards of the highest client service, driving continuous improvements.


* Manage product expiries in a timely and accurate manner.


* Provide clearing technology support.


* Collaborate with multiple groups to quickly and efficiently resolve client issues regarding trade discrepancies, JPM clearing fees and execution fees, interest, and third-party brokerage.


* Visit business partners and clients occasionally, requiring travel in London.


* Conduct client training and service review meetings, which may require travel.


* Initiate and participate in process improvement initiatives.


* Manage project work, including stakeholder management and driving change.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:


* Experience of performance in a customer service role, either supervising or individually


* An understanding of the Futures & Options (F & O) product flow and the trade lifecycle participants (e.g.

brokers, clearers, exchanges, advisors etc..)


* Future & Options (F&O) product knowledge - trade lifecycle events (e.g.

expiries, deliveries), high level understanding of margining


* Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate across multiple aspects of the organization at various levels


* Strong written and verbal communication skills


* Ability to work accurately and effectively under pressure


* Experience in an operational / financial services / customer services environment


* Effective organizational skills with the ability to manage and prioritize workload


* Take ownership and display the ability to follow through with departmental objectives whilst considering risks involved in daily processing


* Capacity to think laterally and understand the big picture


* Ability to identify process inefficiencies to improve capacity, efficiency and control

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:


* Bachelor's degree strongly preferred.

Work Schedule:

This role is full time in office, Monday-Friday between the hours of 8:00am to 5:00pm, and is located in Chicago, IL only.
