Physical Therapist Assistant (PRN)

Pay Range: $35-$45/hr (DOE)
Reports to: Director of Rehab

About the Role

As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you'll work closely with our Physical Therapists to deliver high-quality, hands-on care.

You'll support patient treatment plans, track progress, collaborate with nursing and care teams, and help maintain a positive, well-organized therapy environment.

What You'll Do


* Provide treatment to patients as directed by the Physical Therapist


* Document daily treatment notes and weekly progress per PT Board requirements


* Maintain a clean, safe, and organized therapy area


* Participate in patient care conferences as needed


* Follow physician treatment plans and complete documentation per policy


* Assist with training Restorative Aides


* Communicate with therapists, nursing staff, and families regarding patient progress


* Support family and caregiver training for safe discharge


* Report equipment concerns promptly and uphold department standards

Who We're Looking For


* Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant in the state of Washington


* Strong computer skills (Casamba, PointClickCare, or similar systems)


* Ability to read technical procedures and follow clinical guidelines


* Strong communication skills with patients, families, and staff


* Problem-solving ability and comfort with both written and verbal instructions


* Meets all state CE and license requirements

Physical Requirements

This position involves frequent standing, walking, reaching, pushing/pulling, and assisting patients.

It may require lifting over 50 lbs frequently and up to 100 lbs occasionally.

Full vision, hearing, and physical capability are required to safely support patients.

Work Environment

Work is performed in a clinical setting with a generally low to moderate noise level.
