Operates diverse types of machinery in an assigned cell, to produce various types of Medical Devices, including implants.

Equipment used depends on product being manufactured or operation being performed and may vary from cell to cell.

Under direction of the supervisor and/or cell lead, works to ensure production requirements are met, product quality is maintained, machine maintenance schedules are adhered to and safety rules are followed.

This professional will lead a high skilled Engineering group and will be the key connection between Engineering and Operations.


* Drives and coordinates activities in one or more engineering programs within operations, lending support to production and/or the support and development of new products for Business units.

These programs may include Manufacturing/Process Engineering, Engineering Systems, Transfer Processes, Technology Development, Tools (design, fabrication, assembly, sourcing, and calibration), and Plant/Equipment Maintenance.

Manages and works on issues of different scopes where data analysis calls for the assessment of identifiable factors.

Makes judgment calls in regard to plant practices and policies; selects methods and techniques for problem solving.
