Sales Group Coordinator - Holiday Inn & Suites Cairo Maadi

A little taste of your day-to-day:

Every day is different, but you’ll mostly be:


* Maintaining an efficient filing, tracing, and correspondence system for the Sales division.


* Responding to all incoming correspondence within 24 hours, ensuring proper tracking and documentation.


* Coordinating follow-up actions with Sales & Marketing team members and relevant departments.


* Preparing and sending quotations, proposals, contracts, and rate agreements to travel agents, tour operators, and group clients.


* Assisting in generating group business through proactive outreach, lead follow-up, and upselling of hotel services such as catering, meeting spaces, and upgrades.


* Updating and maintaining mailing lists, managing mail distribution, and overseeing communication flow.


* Supporting internal communication efforts including departmental briefings and cross-departmental liaison.


* Ensuring all promotional materials, sales collateral, and resources are readily available.


* Maintaining professionalism, ethics, and a high level of service with guests, clients, and team members.


* Participating in daily departmental briefings and contributing to ongoing sales initiatives.


* Issuing internal and external communications related to sales activities and updates.


* Enhancing the department’s responsiveness to customer needs and fostering strong teamwork.


* Providing rate updates, promotional news, and hotel information changes to clients via email, phone, and written communication.


* Helping maximize the hotel’s exposure in key markets through continuous outreach and relationship-building.


* Assisting the Sales Team with hotel inspections for walk-ins, meeting groups, and contracted clients.


* Tracking, reporting, and supporting group revenue performance to help achieve monthly and quarterly targets.


* Performing additional duties or special projects as assigned by the Director of Sales & Marketing.

What we need from you:


*  Solid computer skills, proficiency ln the use of office software products (MS Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.).


* Excellent ability to effectively communicate in a clear and concise manner in English and Arabic (both oral and written).


* Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar position in 5/4-star hotel.
