Golf Club Operations, Beverage Cart Attendant (On Call)

The Beverage Cart Attendant serves food, beverages and snacks to club members and guests on the IMG Academy Country Club golf course.

Position Responsibilities


* Provide the highest level of service in accordance with our standards Develops relationships with member and guests.


* Adhering to all company policies, procedures and business ethic codes.


* Reports to work as scheduled, in uniform, and ready to be in position.


* Speaks to members and guests with enthusiasm at all times.


* Stocking and restocking of cart items


* Abides by golf course rules and regulations


* Responsible for constant sanitation, organization, and proper food handling.


* Maintains a safe, clean, organized, and well-stocked beverage cart.


* Communicates with Golf Shop and Outside Operations staff to ensure guest satisfaction.


* Ability to effectively operate computerized POS system and conduct credit card transactions.


* Assisting with special events as necessary


* Other duties as assigned by management

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities


* High school graduate or equivalent


* Present a friendly, professional image


* Strong interpersonal and communication skills


* Basic knowledge of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages


* Basic knowledge of golf course procedures


* Excellent written and verbal communication skills


* Ability to work flexible hours to include nights, weekends and holidays

Preferred Skills


* Bilingual

Physical Demands and Work Environment


* Ability to stand and walk for duration of shift


* Ability to operate golf carts


* Ability to lift, carry, move, push and pull equipment or boxes up to 40lbs


* Must be able to handle outdoor temperatures for a reasonable period of time


* Must be able to move around campus which includes gym, turf, fields, stairs, etc.
