Within this, our IT Risk Management team ensures robust IT security and compliance across strategic and cross-divisional projects.

Your Role:

As a Senior IT Security & Risk Manager  (m/f/d), you will lead and coordinate IT audit activities, represent IT Group Functions in external audits, and drive the implementation of IT security measures across complex, cross-functional systems.

Key Responsibilities


* Manage and coordinate IT audit activities across Corporate Center and service lines


* Represent IT Group Function in external audits (e.g., CREST, EBP platforms)


* Plan and oversee external audit processes and liaise with auditors


* Consolidate audit results and derive actionable recommendations


* Collaborate with Group CISO to resolve findings and ensure compliance


* Advise business units on IT risk mitigation strategies


* Monitor implementation of critical IT security measures


* Prepare annual risk reports for the Supervisory Board


* Evaluate internal audit results and drive improvement measures


* Develop and enhance internal control systems (ICS)


* Ensure sustainable compliance in strategic IT projects (e.g., PIAM, SaaS access concepts)

Your Profile

Professional Qualifications:


* University degree in IT or related field


* Extensive experience in IT audit, compliance, or risk management


* Project management expertise (PMP, Prince2 preferred)


* Certifications such as CISA, CIA, or CPA are a plus


* Strong understanding of IT security principles and technologies


* Familiarity with DHL Group’s IT landscape is an advantage


* Fluent in English; German skills desirable
