About the position:
The Senior Scientist will join a drug discovery team developing groundbreaking and best-in-class therapeutics for the treatment of prostate cancer.
They will be a key contributor towards advancing research programs through various stages of preclinical drug discovery.
This is a laboratory-based position requiring high productivity, effective and frequent collaboration with colleagues within the oncology group and other various cross-functional groups in the organization.
This position requires versatility, strong communication skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment and high-level alignment with the Team leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
In this role, you will:
* Design and execute sophisticated in vitro experiments, and interpret data for validation and characterization of new therapeutic agents and targets to progress programs
* Support the generation of comprehensive and well-designed pre-clinical data packages in support of various programs, including for IND readiness for First-In-Human (FIH) studies
* Routinely perform cell biology techniques.
Experience in cell culture, characterization of cell lines/tissue lysates by western blotting/qPCR/etc, cell proliferation assays including Incucyte-based assays, flow cytometry/FACS, CRISPR gene knockout and Lentiviral transduction of stable cell lines, cell imaging and other functional assays, etc.
