About the job 

Be part of a landmark hotel opening in one of Victoria’s most exciting waterfront destinations! Our 200-room hotel will feature spacious suites, an extensive restaurant and bar offering, pool, gym, and meeting facilities.  

We're now on the lookout for a detail-oriented and hands-on Housekeeping Supervisor to help lead our housekeeping team.

A little taste of your day to day 
 
As our Housekeeping Supervisor, you’ll play a key role in the successful opening and continuing daily operations of our brand-new hotel.

Here’s a snapshot of your day-to-day:


* Support the Housekeeping Manager in setting up systems, processes, and training programs during the pre-opening phase.


* Coach, train, and mentor colleagues to deliver exceptional service.


* Supervise, coach and support housekeeping team members to maintain the highest cleanliness and presentation standards.


* Step in and work alongside the team when needed with a willingness and ability to be hands-on.


* Conduct regular room and public area inspections to ensure consistency and quality.


* Coordinate daily housekeeping operations, including room assignments and task delegation.


* Liaise with Front Office and Maintenance teams to ensure guest rooms are ready and any issues are resolved promptly.


* Meet daily productivity standards and monitor colleagues for productivity.


* Monitor inventory of linens, cleaning supplies, and guest amenities; assist with ordering as needed.


* Uphold health, safety, and hygiene standards at all times.


* Respond quickly to guest requests and ensure service is delivered with warmth and professionalism.


* Use digital tools such as Hub OS or similar systems to track room status and housekeeping tasks.


* Help onboard and train new team members, fostering a positive and productive work environment.

What We Need From You 


* Previous experience in a housekeeping supervisory role, ideally within a hotel or resort environment.


* Strong leadership and organisational skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.


* A sharp eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining top-tier cleanliness standards.


* The ability to work flexibly, including weekends, public holidays and shifts as required.


* A proactive, can-do attitude, especially in a pre-opening environment.


* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.


* Confidence using housekeeping systems and digital tools to manage workflows.
