Are you the kind of person who believes that great care starts with great people? At Buckeye Care and Rehabilitation, we're looking for an HR Manager & Payroll Specialist who brings equal parts heart, hustle, and HR know-how to our skilled nursing team.

In this dual role, you'll be the go-to person for everything people-related — from onboarding new team members and celebrating milestones to ensuring everyone gets paid accurately and on time (we know that's everyone's favorite part!).

What You'll Do


* Lead the daily HR and payroll operations for our skilled nursing facility.


* Manage employee records, benefits, onboarding, and compliance with state and federal regulations.


* Process bi-weekly payroll, verify hours, and support department managers with scheduling accuracy.


* Support recruitment efforts — because finding and keeping amazing caregivers is key to our mission.


* Be a trusted partner for staff and leadership — offering guidance, resolving concerns, and promoting a positive work culture.


* Assist with performance reviews and employee engagement programs that make Buckeye a workplace people love.

What We're Looking For


* Experience in human resources and payroll preferred, but not required


* Working knowledge of employment laws, HR best practices, and payroll systems.


* Strong organizational and communication skills (you're the calm in the storm and the glue that holds things together).


* A people-first mindset with a knack for problem-solving and confidentiality.


* Someone who loves a mix of structure and spontaneity — no two days are the same here!
