DEPCOM Power, a Koch Engineered Solutions company, is seeking a Field Engineer Intern to join our team.

This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the field of engineering within the renewable energy sector.

As a Field Engineer Intern, you will work closely with experienced engineers and project managers to support the construction and maintenance of 10-300MW utility scale solar PV plants.

This role will help support the construction of solar power plants and the identified candidate must be flexible to spend the summer onsite at the project.

Our Team

The Field Engineering team supports both self-perform and contracted construction of utility-scaled Solar and BESS EPC jobs nationwide.

This team provides superior value to our customers by orchestrating seamless field operations.

This is achieved through robust communication, group collaboration, and responsible, creative problem-solving, ensuring projects are constructed on time and in compliance with design, laws, codes, and requirements.

What You Will Do


* Assist in the execution of solar power plant projects.


* Gather data and information for project planning and construction.


* Support Project Teams by preparing reports, red line drawings, inspections, and other project documentation.


* Monitor and report on project progress, ensuring adherence to timelines and quality standards.


* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues and optimize project performance.


* Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies on-site.


* Participate in project meetings and provide updates on assigned tasks.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)


* Currently pursuing a degree in Engineering or technical study (i.e.

Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Construction Management or related field).


* Legal authorization to work permanently in the U.S.

for any employer without requiring a visa transfer or sponsorship


* Eligible for full time employment on or before Summer 2028
