Maintenance Tech Trainee - Apprenticeship Program

There is an opportunity for a Maintenance Technician Trainee -at the Altec Midwest Facility in St.

Joseph, Missouri.

You must be a student enrolled in the Apprenticeship Program at North Central Missouri College in Savannah, MO.

Qualifications:


* Student enrolled in the apprenticeship program at North Central Missouri College


* Machine knowledge through experience or vocational school training.


* Ability to pass applicable testing by the end of the program.


* Have basic computer usage knowledge.

Responsibilities:


* Troubleshoots automated equipment.


* Welds, cuts, brazes, and solders.


* Operates and troubleshoots circuit boards, and NC & CNC equipment.


* Interprets diagrams and operation manuals.


* Operates milling machines and drill presses.


* Troubleshoots programmable controllers, machinery, and mechanical equipment.


* Works with others to make independent decisions.


* Reads blueprints.


* Follow payroll timekeeping policies.


* Keep track of day-to-day processes in the computer system.


* Self-starter, able to work with minimal supervision.
