Cornell Pump Company is seeking a full-time Pump Test Mechanic to work in our Testing Department in the Clackamas, OR location.

This is an excellent opportunity for a mechanically inclined professional who enjoys working with complex systems, takes pride in hands-on testing, and thrives on problem-solving in a collaborative technical environment.

The hourly pay range for this position is $23.00-$28.00 (DOE)

SUMMARY DESCRIPTION:

In this role, you'll play a key part in ensuring the quality and performance of our pumps by setting up equipment, running tests, and reviewing results with engineers.

You'll also gain hands-on experience with light pump assembly and support the team during peak production times-making a direct impact on products that serve industries worldwide.

What You'll Do:


* Assists in the process of RMA evaluation and processing.


* Computer abilities such as MS Office, ERP systems, creating work orders, and processing RMA documentation.


* Design and build test loops in preparation for pump testing


* Set up pumps for performance testing


* Examine parts for conformance with dimensional specifications with measuring tools such as dial indicators or calipers


* Confers with engineering personnel to resolve fabrication problems relating to design specifications and to review test plans


* Activates controls to apply electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, or mechanical power and subject the test item to successive steps in the test cycle


* Monitors, controls, and instruments and records test data for the engineer's review
