Laundry Attendant – Multi-Skilled - voco Cairo Arabella Plaza

We are looking for a Laundry Attendant – Multi-Skilled who will contribute to the efficient daily operations of the laundry by performing a variety of tasks, ensuring high-quality service for guests, colleagues, and hotel operations in line with IHG standards.

A little taste of your day-to-day:
Every day is different at IHG, but you’ll mostly be:


* Supporting the laundry team in meeting daily production targets.


* Handling guest laundry requests with care and ensuring timely delivery.


* Maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, and organization in the laundry area.


* Monitoring chemicals, supplies, and reporting maintenance needs.


* Performing dry cleaning, spotting, and special treatment for delicate garments.


* Inspecting items for stains, damage, or wear and treating them accordingly.


* Operating laundry machinery and equipment safely and efficiently.


* Sorting, washing, drying, pressing, and folding guest, staff, and hotel linens.


* Preparing and maintaining uniforms for colleagues to the required standards.

What we need from you:


* Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Hospitality or related field preferred.


* Previous experience in laundry operations, pressing, or dry cleaning in a 4/5-star hotel or similar environment.


* Knowledge of fabric care, stain removal, and garment handling techniques.


* Ability to multitask and work across different laundry functions.


* Strong attention to detail and commitment to high standards.


* Physical ability to stand for long hours and handle lifting tasks.


* Team-oriented attitude with good communication skills.
