Admissions Representative, University Inpatient Hospital, Full-time

Responsibilities


* Distributes pre-admission forms to each department.


* Signs in patient upon arrival.


* Obtains copies of patient’s insurance information.


* Verifies all patient data and corrects as needed.


* Calls secondary insurance companies for pre-certifications.


* Creates and files business office/admission charts.


* Responsible for the production and distribution of patient education manuals.


* Verifies compliance with regulatory standards.


* May perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications


* High school graduate with Business curriculum. 


* Two to three years secretarial/office experience.


* Must be a team player and have personality skills.
