Operations Manager
Our Construction Equipment group is seeking a highly organized, process-oriented Operations Manager to oversee and support our New Hudson, MI branch.
This role will focus on driving efficiency across service, parts, and rental functions while building a strong, cohesive team culture.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of improving workflows, managing performance, and leading people within a dealership, equipment, or related service-based industry.
Responsibilities:
* Oversee daily branch operations across service, parts, and rental departments.
* Implement, monitor, and refine processes to improve efficiency, productivity, and customer satisfaction.
* Partner with Service and Parts Managers to ensure alignment with company goals and performance metrics.
* Lead and support staff development, fostering a culture of accountability, teamwork, and safety.
* Manage operational KPIs including technician efficiency, parts turns, rental utilization, and customer satisfaction.
* Ensure accurate reporting, cost control, and compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
* Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance branch performance and customer service.
Qualifications:
* 5+ years of operations or branch management experience in heavy equipment, automotive, construction, or related industries.
* Strong organizational and process management skills with attention to detail.
* Proven ability to build and lead cohesive, high-performing teams.
* Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
* Solid understanding of service department workflows, parts inventory control, and rental operations.
* Proficiency with business systems (ERP, CRM, or dealership management software preferred).

* Physical/Sensory Functions: Regularly will talk/hear; Frequently will stand, sit, use hands, reach with hands and arms; Occasionally will walk, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
