Director, Supply Chain Inventory Operations (Hybrid - Plano, TX)

SUMMARY
The Director of Supply Chain Inventory Operations oversees inventory management of medical supplies and pharmaceuticals across all clinic locations.
This role ensures clinics are adequately stocked, inventory is tracked accurately, and supplies are used efficiently to support patient care.
Director is also responsible for developing and implementing inventory management strategies and processes, optimizing supply chain operations and spend, guide the execution of Inventory Tasks by clinic personnel, and leading inventory staff as applicable.
This is a hybrid role.
Tuesdays are onsite at our Plano Corporate Office.
Candidates should be in the Dallas/Fort Worth, TX area.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.

* Develop and oversee the implementation of inventory management policies and procedures across all clinic locations.
* Monitor inventory levels to ensure adequate stock while minimizing excess and obsolete inventory.
* Work with IT to Implement and maintain software systems that support Inventory Management tasks.
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, Category Directors, and Clinical Leadership to timely manage backorder and substitutions.
* Support creation of new onboarding strategies and execute effective conversions.
* Identify and implement strategies to reduce supply chain costs and improve operational efficiency.
* Lead and mentor clinic's personnel responsible for Inventory tasks providing guidance and support to ensure high performance.
* Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
* Conduct performance evaluations, set goals, and identify training needs for team members as appropriate.
* Collaborate with corporate and regional leadership, clinic managers and staff to understand their inventory needs and ensure timely replenishment of supplies.
* Address and resolve inventory-related issues that arise in the clinics.
* Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards related to inventory management.
* Conduct clinic visits to evaluate adherence to procedures and process improvement.
+ Analyze inventory data to identify trends, forecast future needs, and make informed decisions.
+ Prepare and present regular reports on inventory status, supply chain performance, and cost-saving initiatives to senior management.
+ Utilize data to improve inventory accuracy, implement demand driven PAR management, oversee Key Performance indicators, and reduce waste.
