Merchant Services Business Manager - Vice President
Join our Business Management team and play a pivotal role in enhancing business performance by leading strategic initiatives and serving as a trusted advisor to Business and Group Heads.
As a Business Management Vice President within the Commercial & Investment Bank, you will be responsible for overseeing financial performance reporting across business units and client relationship management teams, driving budget processes, facilitating leadership reviews, and managing executive ad-hoc requests.
This dynamic role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on business outcomes while collaborating closely with senior leaders across the organization.
Job Responsibilities:
* Lead business unit financial performance reporting, drive annual planning initiatives, and ensure strategic alignment with organizational objectives.
* Manage and deliver key workstreams including pipeline data analysis, month-end results, business townhall materials, and executive reviews.
* Deliver prompt and effective responses to executive ad-hoc requests, oversee project management, develop impactful presentations, and conduct comprehensive business analysis.
* Organize and present complex information strategically, demonstrating advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, and creating wireframes and mock-ups for management presentations, reports, and dashboards.
* Communicate effectively with senior business partners and stakeholders to understand project objectives, drive next steps, and ensure alignment across teams.
* Identify and assess key business risks, proactively leading analysis to develop actionable solutions and recommendations.
* Leverage Alteryx and other automation tools to streamline processes and enhance reporting efficiency.
* Champion collaborative initiatives to simplify, improve, and add value to business processes across the organization.
Required Qualifications, Skills and Capabilities:
* Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related area.
* Prior experience in Business Management or COO role.
* Proven experience delivering timely, high-quality presentations and reporting.
* Demonstrated ability to deal with different stakeholder groups and drive the agenda.
* Excellent communication, organization, and project management skills.
* Ability to articulate and demonstrate thoughtful rationale in design decisions.
* Intermediate to advanced proficiency in MS Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Pivot Tables).
* Self-motivated, tenacious, and able to work independently.
* Excellent written and oral communication skills.
* Strong time management and prioritization skills.
Preferred Qualifications, Skills and Capabilities:
* Knowledge of Alteryx.
