Ocean Freight Export Team Leader

Key Responsibilities: -



* Manage and drive the performance of a team focused on OFR Export operations.


* Ensure customer requirements are met and take corrective actions in case of deviations from customer requirements.


* Act as a subject matter expert for OFR Operations queries, interacting with Customer Service, Product, and Global Service Centers as needed.


* Ensure documents are completed and updated in a timely and efficient manner and according to regulations and internal procedures.


* Processes, handles, and distributes all required documents in the shipping area.


* Regularly review the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) and ensure alignment to serve customers.


* Review processes and design systems to enhance service quality, aligning with the company’s long-term goals and direction.


* Study operational issues, identify opportunities, and introduce best practices for OFR Ops/CS, focusing on increasing effectiveness and efficiency.


* Develop and implement continuous improvement initiatives to optimize export operations.

   

Qualification: -


* Bachelor’s degree or MBA in Business Management, Logistics or and related field.


* At least 7-8 years’ experience in Freight Forwarding Business or related fields.


* Strong communication and negotiation skills


* Excellent command of spoken and written in English


* Strong Leadership skills.


* Good computer skills and MS Office, Advanced Excel skills advantageous
