Medication Aide Assisted Living

Key Responsibilities:
- Administer medications in accordance with facility protocols and state regulations.
- Monitor residents for side effects or adverse reactions and report concerns promptly.
- Maintain accurate documentation of medication administration and resident observations.
- Collaborate with nursing staff, physicians, and family members to support resident care plans.
- Assist residents with daily living activities as needed, fostering a safe and nurturing environment.
- Provide emotional support and engage residents in meaningful interactions to promote well-being.
- Uphold confidentiality and dignity in all resident interactions.

Qualifications:
- Current certification in medication administration (state-approved).
- Experience in memory care or working with individuals with cognitive impairments.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a high level of compassion and patience.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred.

Work Environment:
This position is located in a specialized memory care unit within an assisted living facility.
