Our broad service offering includes construction materials testing, geotechnical services, environmental engineering, industrial hygiene, and specialty testing.
What are we looking for?
The Environmental Project Manager will support the Building and Construction business by overseeing the Environmental projects in the Kansas City region.
This position could travel 20% of the time depending on project load/location.
Shift/Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00AM-5:00PM (may vary)
What you'll do:
* Perform environmental services including Phase I and II environmental site assessments (ESAs)
* Perform soil and groundwater sampling
* Assist in assessment and remediation and field observation documentation
* Perform industrial hygiene services to include performing asbestos, indoor air quality, and lead surveys
* Ability to prepare technical proposal and reports
* Ability to communicate with clients and regulators to keep projects moving and on schedule
* Ability to self-manage and make decisions during all phases of a project
* Ability to manage and control project budgets and build solid relationship with clients

Minimum Requirements & Qualifications:
* Minimum-BS in Environmental Science, Biology, Engineering, Geology, or related field
* 4+ years of proven technical environmental consulting experience
* Strong technical proposal and report writing abilities
* Must be detail-oriented, and a team player with excellent communication, analytical, and organization, as well as time and budget management skills
* Must be computer literate and able to operate most field/office equipment relating to one's discipline
* Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
