As a Senior Lead Security Engineer at JPMorgan Chase within Cybersecurity and Tech Controls, you will play a crucial role as part of an agile team dedicated to delivering software solutions that meet pre-defined functional and user requirements while also safeguarding against misuse, circumvention, and malicious behavior.

Job responsibilities



* Facilitates security requirements clarification for multiple networks to enable multi-level security to satisfy organizational needs


* Works with stakeholders and senior business leaders to recommend business modifications during periods of vulnerability


* Be responsible for triaging based on risk assessments of various threats and managing resources to cover impact of disruptive events


* Adds to team culture of diversity, opportunity, inclusion, and respect

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills


* Formal training or certification on Security Engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experience


* Skilled in planning, designing, and implementing enterprise-level security solutions


* Proficient in AI/ML techniques and skilled in advanced analytics.


* Proficiency in programming languages commonly used in AI/ML, such as Python, R, Java, and C++.


* Strong Database skills with Oracle & DynamoDB and experience in tuning database queries, processing large amount of data.


* Able to design and implement solutions that work against high-volume data sources.


* Practical experience of architecting & developing applications on any one of the major public cloud providers (AWS, Azure)


* Extensive experience with threat modeling, discovery, vulnerability, and penetration testing


* Ability to tackle design and functionality problems independently with little to no oversight


* Practical cloud native experience

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills


* Java, Kubernetes and AWS certification is a plus.


* Good experience on writing unit tests in Java and React JS for a highly complex enterprise environment.


* Proven experience with modern frontend framework and libraries such as React is a plus.


* Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins or GitLab for automating software delivery
