Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant – Outpatient Breast Surgery

Work Schedule :

80% FTE, Monday- Friday between the hours of 8:00 am - 5:00 pm.

No weekends, holidays, or call.

Description:

As an Advanced Practice Provider, you'll play an integral role in our inpatient and ambulatory care teams by providing high-quality, cost-effective care to patients.

We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant to:


* Provide comprehensive care to patients with breast disorders, including the spectrum of diseases from benign abnormalities to breast cancer survivorship.


* Provide care and educate patients on high-risk treatment strategies, wellness care, and treatment plans for benign changes.


* See patients with benign breast problems, post-operative complications, follow patients who are high risk for breast cancer, and follow breast cancer survivor patients.


* Collaborate with the team to develop, manage, and modify treatment plans for patients at high risk for breast cancer.


* Treat patients with breast cancer risk factors through multidisciplinary care by Surgical Oncologists, Medical Oncologists, Genetic Counselors, and Radiation Oncologists.

Education :

Minimum -

If Nurse Practitioner: Master's or Doctorate's degree from accredited Nursing Program.

If Physician Assistant: Bachelor's or Master's degree from accredited PA Program.

Licenses and Certifications :

Minimum - State of Wisconsin NP or PA licensure

If Nurse Practitioner

* Active RN and APRN certifications and licenses, including prescriptive authority, in state(s) of practice AND


* Active board certification as a NP in area of clinical practice.

These may include the following: Adult; Adult/Gerontology Primary Care; Family.

If Physician Assistant

* Active PA license, including prescriptive authority, in state(s) of practice AND


* Active PA board certification

All Nurse Practitioner and Physician Assistant applicants must have

*Active license or eligibility to obtain active licensure in state of practice.

This may include licensing in Wisconsin and other state(s) of practice.
