Microsoft 365 Suite Engineering Tech Lead

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Microsoft 365 Suite Engineering Tech Lead to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the comprehensive Microsoft 365 suite, including SharePoint, Mail/Exchange, Mail Routing, and Data Loss Prevention (DLP).

This position demands an in-depth understanding of Microsoft 365 technologies and the capability to lead a team of engineers in delivering top-quality solutions

Key Accountabilities/Deliverables:


* Lead the engineering team in designing, implementing, and maintaining the full Microsoft 365 suite, including SharePoint, Mail/Exchange, Teams, Power Platform, Copilot, Mail Routing, and DLP.


* Develop best practices for Microsoft 365 administration, security, and compliance.


* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and operation of Microsoft 365 services.


* Manage mail routing and DLP policies to ensure data security and compliance.


* Stay updated with the latest Microsoft 365 features and evaluate their impact on the organization.


* Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to Microsoft 365 services.


* Maintain documentation for Microsoft 365 configurations, processes, and procedures.


* Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members.


* Ensure adherence to best practices, coding standards, and security protocols.


* Oversee project development and ensure timely delivery.


* Define and implement governance models for Microsoft 365 environments.


* Align platform capabilities with business strategy and long-term vision.


* Evaluate platform metrics and contribute to strategic planning.


* Identify opportunities for automation and process optimization.

Drive digital transformation initiatives.

Technical Knowledge and Understanding:


* Experience with PowerShell scripting and automation. 


* Familiarity with other Microsoft technologies such as Azure and Active Directory. 


* Core M365 Services including SharePoint Online, Teams, Exchange Online, OneDrive.


* Scripting & Automation involving PowerShell for administrative tasks and automation.


* Azure integration and services.


* Security and compliance policies (e.g., DLP, MFA, Conditional Access).


* M365 architecture and governance.


* Familiarity with Azure DevOps pipelines.


* Preferably Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert or equivalent certification.

Experience:


* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required, with a Master’s degree preferred.


* Proven experience in leading engineering teams.

The candidate should have over 10 years of relevant experience, including at least 3 years in a technical leadership role within the Microsoft 365 suite.
