Quality Tech 2

Key Responsibilities:


* Perform inspections and quality tests on raw materials, in-process items, and finished goods.


* Identify and report defects, inconsistencies, and deviations from quality standards.


* Identify Critical to Quality conditions on parts


* Maintain and analyze quality assurance documentation and metrics.


* Maintain quality control systems and procedures.


* Troubleshoot and resolve complex product quality issues with the support of other team members


* Monitor operations affecting product quality and ensure compliance with industry and company standards.


* Provide training and support to production teams on quality standards and testing methods.


* Collaborate with engineering and production teams to drive continuous improvement.


* Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.

Qualifications:


* Proven experience in a manufacturing quality role (typically 1-3 years).


* Knowledge of quality control procedures, tools, and legal standards.


* Proficiency in using measurement and testing devices (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges).


* Ability to read and interpret technical documents and engineering drawings.


* Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.


* Attention to details


* Familiarity with statistical process control and lean manufacturing principles.


* High school diploma required; associate or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.


* Certification (e.g., ASQ Certified Quality Technician) is a plus.

Work Environment:


* Manufacturing floor setting with potential exposure to noise, machinery, and safety protocols.


* May require use of protective equipment and adherence to strict safety guidelines.
