The Risk & Security Manager, assigned to a specific Pinkerton client, will enhance risk mitigation strategies by providing reliable and timely support for both strategic planning and day-to-day operational oversight, ensuring the safety of the organization's assets, personnel, and information.
The Manager implements security policies, supervises security personnel, conducts risk assessments, and ensures compliance with relevant regulations.
Additionally, this role investigates security breaches and coordinates with law enforcement and other emergency services as necessary.
Responsibilities
* Represent Pinkerton’s core values of integrity, vigilance, and excellence.
* Support and update security policies and procedures to protect personnel, assets, and information.
* Identify vulnerabilities, assess risks, and develop strategies to mitigate potential threats, while overseeing daily operations and planning security activities to safeguard the client's assets and personnel.
* Hire, train, and supervise security staff, including Security Guards and other personnel.
* Investigate security breaches, respond to emergencies, and coordinate efforts with law enforcement or other relevant authorities.
* Ensure the security operations comply with federal, state, and local laws and regulations pertaining to the nuclear industry.
* Oversee the maintenance and operation of security systems including CCTV, alarms, and access control systems.
* Provide recommendations for new security technologies.
* Manage security-related investigations and communicate findings to key stakeholders.
* Support emergency response plans and drills while coordinating efforts with stakeholders.
* Prepare reports on security incidents, analyze data to identify trends, and recommend improvements.
* Cordinate with law enforcement and other agencies and collaborate with internal departments, communicate security status, and prepare reports and presentations for executives.
* Educate employees on security policies and procedures, promote a security-conscious culture, and provide training on relevant topics.
* All other duties, as assigned.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree preferred with seven to ten years of corporate security and risk mitigation experience.
