COTA - PRN - Sherwood Oaks Post Acute

* Assist in the implementation of occupational therapy treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist


* Provide therapeutic interventions to patients with various medical conditions, including but not limited to medical imaging, occupational health, acute care, and pediatrics


* Help patients improve their functional abilities and independence through therapeutic activities and exercises


* Monitor and document patient progress during therapy sessions


* Collaborate with the Occupational Therapist to develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs


* Educate patients and their families on therapeutic techniques and strategies for home-based care

Experience:


* Certification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant


* Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology


* Experience working in medical imaging, occupational health, acute care, or pediatrics is preferred


* Strong communication and interpersonal skills


* Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team


* Excellent organizational and time management skills
