The Opportunity


* Seeking Board Certified Emergency Medicine physicians.


* Code Blue Sleep Shift (1:30am-9:30am): Low-activity overnight in-hospital shift for Vituity partners or experienced PAs (intubation/code experience required); typically involves sleeping unless called for code/intubation.

10-12 shifts available.


* Previous ED experience preferred.


* Candidates wanting to work in an academic setting with current residents desired.


* Current CA state license is a plus.


* Visa Candidates are encouraged to apply.

The Practice

Orange Coast Global Medical Center - Santa Ana, California


* A 282-bed hospital, Level II Trauma Center, and Burn Center.


* 15-bed main ED plus 4 fast track.


* Annual volume of 40,000 with a 27% admit rate.


* Patient mix includes older population, a large Vietnamese population, and geriatrics on Medicare.


* On call services include FM/IM, OB/GYN, Surgery, Ortho, ICU, Cardiology, NICU, and neurosurgery.
