Arden Park Post Acute is now hiring a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP/CFY) to join our rehabilitation team.

We welcome both experienced Speech-Language Pathologists and Clinical Fellows (CFY) who are looking for a supportive environment to grow their careers in skilled nursing and post-acute care.

Responsibilities


* Provide speech therapy evaluations and treatments for residents with communication, swallowing, and cognitive disorders


* Develop and carry out individualized treatment plans


* Document therapy services and progress according to regulations and facility standards


* Collaborate with nursing, physical therapy, and occupational therapy staff to ensure the best resident outcomes


* Educate patients, families, and caregivers on therapy goals and techniques

Qualifications


* Current California Speech-Language Pathologist license, or CFY candidate with provisional license


* Excellent communication and documentation skills


* Compassionate and resident-focused approach to therapy


* Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced healthcare setting
