Central Sterile Specialist

Location: Endoscopy Suite at 87th Ave (700 NE 87th Ave - Vancouver, WA 98664)

Hiring Range: generally between $20.05-$24.05 per hour and placement in the range is based on evaluation of experience.

Full-Time Schedule : four, 10 hour days Monday through Friday (day off TBD)

In this role you will process, sterilize, and maintain reusable instruments.

You will follow recommended and mandated procedures to ensure the safety and sterility of reusable instruments.

Certification not required, experience preferred.

Instrument Care


* Cleans and sterilizes surgical instruments according to Clinic procedure.


* Maintains equipment in good working order.


* Monitors instruments for quality and seeks repair or replacement.


* Maintains current knowledge of disinfection/sterilization technique through continuing education and professional equipment.


* Performs quality control procedures on a routine basis and documents according to established procedures.

Requirements


* High school diploma or equivalent required


* Detailed and procedure oriented required


* Ability to work independently and adhere to specific guidelines


* Previous experience in an ambulatory surgery center or central sterile services, preferred


* Certificate of completion from a formal central sterile processing technology course, preferred


* National certification, preferred

Pay Range:
$19.70 - $27.58
